Through this program, Oceaneering is seeking a motivated Field Engineer to work and learn at out West Coast Field Site located in Washington State. This occupation troubleshoots and repairs electro-mechanical systems in addition to performing a variety of fundamental field engineering tasks. The successful candidate will participate in a practical, structured, systematic program of on-the-job training and related instruction to develop existing military technical experience. will be 6 – 16 weeks long and can only commence within the 180 days before discharge from active-duty service.
- Must meet all eligibility requirements outlined in all applicable DoD and service specific instructions.
- Official TAD/ TDY Orders to Oceaneering International, Inc. for the period of the .
- Associates degree in engineering or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must demonstrate the ability to interpret engineering drawings and data.
- Must demonstrate working knowledge of ANSI Y14.5, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, AWS D1.1,2
- Must demonstrate Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and a familiarity with related engineering fields.
- Military occupation or civilian experience related to field operations including fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing of advanced electro/mechanical systems.
- Intermediate to advanced level user of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must be a US Citizen who is not a dual citizen of any other country.
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance.
