Site Supervisor / Lead Fitter (Solar Farm – Mechanical)\n\nLocation: Solar Farm, NR14\nDuration: 8 weeks\nStart: mid November\nDay Rate: £280 per day\n\nOverview:\nEnable Resourcing is delivering labour support on a large solar farm project (NR14) and seeking an experienced Site Supervisor / Lead Fitter to oversee mechanical and electrical installation teams on site.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Supervise a team of 5–6 operatives carrying out structure and module installation.\n\n * Oversee racking assembly, torque checks, and quality assurance.\n\n * Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and H&S requirements.\n\n * Coordinate daily tasks, productivity, and site reporting.\n\n * Lead toolbox talks and promote a safety-first, collaborative culture.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience supervising solar or mechanical installation works.\n\n * SSSTS / SMSTS certification.\n\n * CSCS card (essential).\n\n * Competent with torque tools and QA documentation.\n\n * Strong leadership and communication skills
