Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated, passionate, and proactive Water Site SCADA Systems Engineer to join our Operational Technology (OT) team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and fault-finding of Site SCADA systems (including AVEVA System Platform / Wonderware, Iconics, and RSView) for critical water treatment works, reservoirs, and booster stations across your region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the digital transformation of the UK’s largest water company, supporting reliable, resilient, and secure SCADA operations that keep water services running 24/7.

What you’ll do as a Site SCADA Systems Engineer (Water) SCADA System Support Maintain high availability of site-based SCADA platforms (targeting 99.2% uptime or higher). Deliver essential planned maintenance, including health checks, patches, and hotfixes. Implement and test disaster recovery plans and complete annual “data of last resort” backups.

Deliver Site SCADA system updates and upgrades, ensuring programmable OT/ICA assets are maintained and current. Respond to SCADA-related service requests (TAPS) within 15 working days. Implement and maintain security improvements to enhance site OT system resilience.
