Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Site Safety Supervisor in the NY, Metropolitan area. This is a direct hire opportunity with an integrated Construction, Design and Technology solutions firm located in Manhattan NY.

Pay $150K+ and schedule is 7am – 3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Candidate must be comfortable and motivated to work the day shift and some weekend shifts.
• Conduct safety inspections at various project sites, develop and submit a report at the end of each inspection.
• Assist in developing and reviewing Health and Safety procedures and programs.
• Conduct safety related training.
• Provide compliance assistance to projects.
• Ensure all safety requirements of the Building Code and OSHA are being met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project safety, with safety experience on MTA rail projects.
• Reliable transportation required for travel to various sites as required.
• Safety Training and Certifications required.
• CHST or CSP is required.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant safety requirements including OSHA, NYC DOB, NYC DEP, DOT, local, state and federal safety regulations.
• Strong written and oral skills.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels.
• Must be fit and able to traverse through challenging site conditions, including stair towers, ladders, uneven ground surfaces, etc.
