Senior Observability Engineer

No 3rd Party, no C2C!

Overview:
We’re looking for a Senior Observability Engineer to lead the design and implementation of modern monitoring and telemetry solutions across a cloud- environment. This role will drive visibility, reliability, and performance across distributed systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect and scale observability solutions using New Relic (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, NRQL)
• Build dashboards and alerting for real-time system visibility
• Automate observability via Terraform/OpenTofu or similar IaC tools
• Analyze telemetry to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance
• Partner with engineering teams to establish observability best practices (metrics, logs, tracing)

What You Bring:

• 7+ years in Cloud / SRE / DevOps / Observability roles
• 3+ years hands-on with New Relic (NRQL, APM, alerting, dashboards)
• Strong experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
• Cloud expertise: AWS (), Azure, or GCP
• Scripting: Python, Go, or Bash
• Solid understanding of microservices, containers (Docker/K8s), and CI/CD
• Strong troubleshooting + performance optimization mindset
