Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Site Reliability Engineer II opening for our client in Frisco, TX.
Location: Frisco, TX
Duration: 11 months
Duties:

Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems.

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to build and deploy automation tools for system health, availability, and performance.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure updates.

Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to postmortems and reliability improvements.

Support systems through capacity planning, monitoring, and on-call rotations.

Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
Skills:
-
Proficiency with Linux/Unix-based systems and scripting such as Bash, Python, or Go.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).

Understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Experience:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related fields.

Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices.

Experience working in a fast-paced, production-critical environment.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
