Job Title: Site Manager\n\nLocation: Northwest\n\nReporting Line: Senior Construction Project Manager\n\nSalary: Competitive, with benefits\n\nPosition Overview\n\nThe Site Manager will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects on site. The role requires strong leadership to ensure works are executed safely, to programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nResource Management\n\nPlan and allocate labour, materials, and plant resources effectively.\n\nProcure, appoint, and manage subcontractors.\n\nOversee site logistics to ensure smooth project delivery.\n\nSite Supervision\n\nDirect and manage day-to-day site operations.\n\nMonitor progress against the construction programme.\n\nCoordinate all site activities, trades, and subcontractors.\n\nQuality Assurance\n\nImplement and maintain quality assurance procedures.\n\nInspect works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.\n\nAddress and resolve defects and instances of non-conformance.\n\nHealth, Safety & Environmental Management\n\nImplement and enforce statutory health, safety, and environmental requirements.\n\nConduct audits, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.\n\nLead investigations and reporting of incidents, ensuring corrective measures are applied.\n\nStakeholder Communication & Coordination\n\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and design teams.\n\nLead site meetings, providing accurate and timely progress reports.\n\nResolve site issues and conflicts efficiently to maintain programme and quality objectives.\n\nRisk & Compliance\n\nIdentify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.\n\nEnsure compliance with statutory approvals, permits, and inspections.\n\nProject Closeout\n\nOversee completion of snagging and defect rectification.\n\nManage project handover processes, including warranties and final documentation.\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nDemonstrable experience as a Site Manager on large-scale construction projects.\n\nPrevious experience in rainscreen cladding is highly desirable.\n\nStrong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.\n\nComprehensive knowledge of modern construction methods, materials, and building regulations.\n\nProficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Procore, Primavera, or equivalent.\n\nObjectives of the Role\n\nConsistently enforce health and safety policies and procedures.\n\nEnsure projects are delivered:\n\nSafely\n\nOn programme\n\nTo the specified quality standards\n\nWithin budget\n\nMaintain proactive communication with all stakeholders, ensuring effective management of project variations
