Site ManagerRoofing and Rainscreen Cladding Position: Site Manager – Roofing & Rainscreen Cladding\n Location: West Midlands\n Employment Type: Full-time\n\nRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of roofing and rainscreen cladding projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring health & safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of roofing and façade systems, and excellent communication skills.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Delivery\n\nManage the day-to-day operations of roofing and rainscreen cladding installation works on site.\n\nEnsure project milestones are achieved in line with the construction programme.\n\nCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labour resources effectively.\n\nHealth & Safety\n\nImplement and monitor site-specific health and safety plans, RAMS, and toolbox talks.\n\nEnsure all works are carried out in line with CDM regulations and company policies.\n\nQuality & Compliance\n\nMonitor workmanship to ensure installations meet design specifications, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards.\n\nCarry out quality inspections and resolve technical/site issues promptly.\n\nMaintain accurate site records including QA documentation, progress reports, and photographic evidence.\n\nTeam & Stakeholder Management\n\nLead and motivate site operatives and subcontractors to deliver high standards.\n\nLiaise with clients, consultants, and the project team to ensure clear communication.\n\nAttend site meetings and provide progress updates.\n\nCommercial Awareness\n\nTrack progress against budget and schedule.\n\nIdentify and report potential risks, delays, or cost implications early.\n\nAssist with procurement and materials management to reduce waste and downtime.\n\nSkills & Experience\nProven experience as a Site Manager in roofing and/or rainscreen cladding projects.\n\nStrong technical knowledge of roofing systems (e.g., flat, pitched, single ply, liquid) and rainscreen cladding systems (e.g., ACM, aluminium, terracotta, stone, high-pressure laminate).\n\nValid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.\n\nCSCS card (Black or Gold).\n\nFirst Aid at Work qualification ().\n\nExcellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.\n\nComputer literate with experience using project reporting tools.\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary package (to be discussed based on experience).\n\nOpportunities for career progression within a growing company.\n\nTraining and development support.\n\nCompany vehicle/allowance
