Site Manager (Permanent) – Industrial New Build\nLocation: Reading, Berkshire\nSalary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Package\nContract: Permanent\nSector: Industrial New Build / Main Contractor\n\nOur client, a respected main contractor specialising in industrial new build projects, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to lead high-quality projects within a thriving and reputable construction business.\n\nThe initial scheme on offer here is situated in Reading, Berkshire involving the construction of several industrial units with an overall project value of c£80M.\n\nThe Role:\nAs the Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of an industrial new build project from groundwork to handover. Key duties include:\n\n * \n\n Leading site operations to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.\n\n * \n\n Managing subcontractors, labour, and materials effectively.\n\n * \n\n Ensuring strict compliance with health & safety regulations.\n\n * \n\n Chairing site meetings and maintaining strong communication with the project team.\n\n * \n\n Monitoring progress, identifying issues, and implementing solutions.\n\n * \n\n Maintaining site records, diaries, and documentation.\n\nThe Candidate:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience managing industrial or large-scale commercial new build projects.\n\n * \n\n A strong background working for a main contractor.\n\n * \n\n Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.\n\n * \n\n A proactive and hands-on approach to site management.\n\n * \n\n Relevant qualifications including SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid.\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\n\n * Negotiable Basic Salary c£55,000 - £65,000\n\n * Car Allowance\n\n * Pension\n\n * 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays and Birthday Off\n\n * Company laptop, mobile phone and an EE Wi-Fi dongle\n\n * Company bonus scheme\n\n * Additional benefits\n\nIf you're an experienced Site Manager seeking a new challenge within a leading industrial build contractor, apply now with your CV to join a company that values quality, professionalism, and career development
