Job Description
My client is a market leader in delivering high-quality rail infrastructure solutions across the UK. With decades of experience, they specialise in safety-critical services including fencing, civil engineering, and trackside infrastructure. They seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of fencing projects on rail infrastructure sites.
The successful candidate will ensure all works are carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining full compliance with Network Rail and other relevant standards.\n\nCandidate Responsibilities\n\nManage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.\n\nCoordinate and supervise on-site teams and subcontractors.\n\nLiaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.\n\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards.\n\nConduct site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks.\n\nMonitor site progress and provide regular reports to senior management.\n\nOrder and manage materials, plant, and equipment.\n\nMaintain site records including risk assessments, method statements, and site diaries.\n\nSupport the development and training of site operatives.\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nProven experience managing fencing or civil engineering works, ideally within the rail sector.\n\nIn-depth understanding of railway safety and operational procedures.\n\nCSCS card.\nValid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card.\n\nSMSTS or SSSTS certification.\n\nFull UK driving licence.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\nNVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Site Management\n\nFirst Aid at Work\n\nTemporary Works Coordinator training\n\nAPPLY NOW!\n\nRandstad CPE values and promotes equality.
