Site Manager – Main Contractor\n\nPermanent\n\nLocation – Edinburgh\nSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 + vehicle + benefits package\nRef: GR1541\n\nGibson Recruitment Limited\n\nJob Description\n\nA highly respected building & fit-out contractor with an enviable order book and spread of projects across the central belt of Scotland.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Manager to join a business who have a demonstrable record of developing and promoting from within.\n\nGiven the nature of recent project wins, Site Managers from a building background and a purely fit-out background would both be considered. Projects are around Edinburgh, so applicants must be within commuting distance.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Plan and organise labour on site, including Sub Contractors.\n\n * Ensure all resources are used efficiently on site.\n\n * Keeping site records and registers up to date.\n\n * Keep records and maintain electronic filing system.\n\n * Ensure the site is a safe and tidy place to work and visit.\n\n * Quality Control.\n\n * Authorising timesheets for trades and labour.\n\n * Maintaining high levels of safety standards on site.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Demonstrable track record of delivering fit-out / refurbishment projects for a similar sized Main Contractor.\n\n * Academic or trades background.\n\n * CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid tickets.\n\n * Proven experience of meeting deadlines and keeping costing guidelines.\n\nWhat To Do Now\n\nPlease apply now with your most up to date CV or call Graeme on the details below for more information.\n\nIf this role is not for you but you'd like to have a conversation regarding your next career move, don't hesitate to give us a call, in confidence
