Site Manager – Firestopping Projects - Enhanced DBS\nMultiple Sites Across London\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Site Manager to lead and coordinate firestopping projects across multiple school sites in London. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of passive fire protection works and experience managing projects in live, operational school environments.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in delivering safety-critical works that directly protect students, staff, and educational infrastructure.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple school locations\n\n * \n\n Ensure firestopping installations meet project specifications, building regulations, and safety standards\n\n * \n\n Liaise with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and the internal project team\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate site records and deliver regular progress reports\n\n * \n\n Coordinate deliveries, workforce, and schedules to meet tight deadlines\n\n * \n\n Monitor and enforce strict health & safety compliance on all sites\n\n * \n\n Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions\n\n * \n\n Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track\n\nRequirements\n\n✅ Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction\n✅ Strong knowledge of firestopping techniques and passive fire protection\n✅ Experience working in live school or public-sector environments\n✅ SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)\n✅ CSCS Black or Gold Card\n✅ First Aid at Work Certification\n✅ Full UK Driving Licence\n✅ Enhanced DBS\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
