Site Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee and manage day-to-day operations on-site for a variety of construction projects in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Manage and oversee all on-site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, health and safety standards, and legal regulations.\n\n * \n\n Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site workers.\n\n * \n\n Monitor project progress, identify any delays, and implement corrective actions.\n\n * \n\n Ensure proper use and maintenance of plant, tools, and materials.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project transparency.\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.\n\n * \n\n Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety compliance.\n\n * \n\n Attend and lead site meetings, reporting to the Project Manager and/or Contracts Manager.\n\n * \n\n What’s on offer:\n\n * A full-time role\n\n * The chance to join a supportive and professional team working on exciting projects\n\n * Day rate of £225 - £250 per day\n\n * \n\n If you have relevant experience and are looking for your next opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.\n\n About Global:\n\n Established in 2001, Global has become a market leader and trusted recruitment partner in its chosen sectors.
