Our Board of Directors mostly started on the tools themselves so have a ‘hands-on’ understanding of the work we do.\n\nWe work in social housing managing property disrepairs for local authorities and housing associations.\n\nGilmartins are looking to recruit a qualified Site Manager with experience of delivering legal disrepair projects in social housing; this experience is essential for the job.\n\nThe Role:\n\n * Managing legal disrepair property refurbishments including carrying out site surveys, managing tasks / trades / materials, snagging, finishing off minor repairs, changing locks\n\n * Working across North West London and suroounding Postcodes.\n\n * The ideal person will live central to this area and be willing to travel and work between sites.\n\n * Carry out property works validations\n\n * Run and manage sites\n\n * Allocating and controlling work for Sub-Contractors and direct staff\n\n * Inspect completed jobs\n\n * Maintain and promote quality and Health & Safety on site\n\nSummary of Required Skills:\n\n * Previous experience in social housing managing void projects is essential\n\n * Good understanding of SOR codes\n\n * Deadline driven with effective time management skills\n\n * Excellent organisation skills\n\n * High attention to detail\n\n * People management skills\n\n * Ability to communicate at all levels with all stakeholders\n\n * Ability to multitask and prioritise workload\n\n * IT literate\n\nRequirements for Job:\n\n * Full UK manual driving license – not EU licence\n\n * SMSTS qualified\n\n * DBS certificate\n\n * CSCS card\n\nCompany Benefits:\n\n * Company Van / Fuel card / Paid parking\n\n * Mobile phone / PDA\n\n * Career development opportunities\n\n * 28 day paid holiday (to include bank holidays)\n\n * Employee Assistance\n\n * Hamper at Christmas\n\nHours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday or Sunday in 4 required (paid in addition to salary)
