Position Summary
Site managers plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the organization. The Site manager is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the sit. Site Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations using the best effective practices and strategies.
Duties & Responsibilities
· The Site Manager is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of all support staff for the operation.
· Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
· Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
· The Site Manager should oversee operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is done safely, on time, to the right quality standards, and within budget.
· Effectively communicate and partner with the customers & Area Manager to drive alignment, establish the site’s direction, and resolve issues; Ensure execution of the organization’s strategy and direction through handbooks, staff meetings, and priority communications
· Analyze and interpret contractual obligations and financial reporting to access opportunities and determine successes in key areas and provide guidance to site team to consistently improve in opportunities. Review and analyze the site’s safety performance; identify trends and implement appropriate game plans for improvement
· Conduct site walks with Assistant Site Managers and Supervisors to assess service and labor management opportunities; and create effective game plans to accomplish necessary improvements. Host weekly site walks with the Client and Corporate teams to review game plan effectiveness and monitor execution
· Facilitate weekly staff meetings with Assistant Site Managers and Supervisors to establish and implement site goals and objectives; Monitor team members engagement levels and drive employee engagement initiatives; Empower and inspire team members to make an emotional connection with customers
· Teach, coach and train 1) Leadership and team members on operational processes, site appearance and profitability; 2) site leadership teams on creating a safe working environment and a culture of operational excellence 3) site leadership teams to achieve alignment and operational improvements
· Support the implementation and monitoring of pilot programs and new organization initiatives to improve simplification in the processes
· Ensure that time keeping requirements are lawfully upheld during shift
· Additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
Experience:
o 3-5 years of proven experience in management required
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.
o Experience working in facility management or heavily regulated environments
