SUMMARY: Site Manager (SM) leads a team of onsite support personnel located at a customer location. SM is independently responsible for executing overall customer program deliverables.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personally exhibits, recruits and coaches associates consistent with Core Behaviors
- Responsible for promoting a culture of safety
- Reviews, understands and executes KPI’s; analyzes root cause, maps out and implements customer-specific improvement plans
- Represents BlackHawk, acting as a liaison with suppliers and customers and acts as the key contact.
- Assists in identifying and implementing cost reduction projects.
- Analyze use and transaction data defining application needs.
- Leads the effort to implement price increases with customer.
- Responds and resolves everyday customer requests and recommends action plans to mitigate issues as they arise.
- Attends Rolling Action Item List (RAIL) meetings representing BlackHawk.
- Maintains Tool Crib, enter customer orders and quotes, maintains shipping and receiving, performs cycle count and inventory review, and performs vending, stocking, and maintenance, when applicable
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and developing team members
- Manages workflow and gives direction and support to direct reports.
- Manages scheduling, time card approvals, initiating overtime as needed, and PTO requests to ensure that the customer has adequate onsite support while protecting the financial resources of BHID.
- To efficiently perform all customer tasks in ERP system, crib, and if required, a customer ERP system to efficiently handle all requirements of order management.
- Perform all work in accordance with contractual requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced knowledge of ERP system
- Advanced knowledge of supporting software systems
- Advanced knowledge of hardware devices, vending machines
- Industrial solid product knowledge, competent, MRO and industrial tooling
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels in person and email.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage direct reports
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 5 plus years of experience in a similar position required
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to exposure to elements to the extent of being objectionable. May be exposed to one element continuously or several elements occasionally, but usually not at the same time. Elements may include loud sounds, dirty surroundings, and heavy lifting. Schedule involves frequent changes or includes some weekends and evenings.
- Employee is regularly required to speak and understand English, stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to use computer and other equipment.
- Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.
PPE REQUIRED:
- Eye protection, ear protection, and any PPE required by customer, including but not limited to steel-toed shoes and head protection.
