Site Manager – High-End Residential & Heritage Refurbishments
Location: Tring, Hertfordshire (Projects across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Hertfordshire)
We are recruiting on behalf of our Oxfordshire-based client, a respected contractor specialising in high-end residential and heritage building refurbishments. With an excellent reputation for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, they are seeking a Site Manager to oversee a newly acquired project in Tring, Hertfordshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where you will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring smooth running of all activities.
*
Coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
*
Overseeing health & safety compliance, carrying out site inductions, and maintaining a safe working environment.
*
Monitoring project progress, maintaining accurate site records, and reporting to senior management.
*
Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and construction details to ensure quality standards are met.
*
Managing budgets, schedules, and procurement to ensure timely delivery.
*
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and stakeholders.
*
Ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard of finish, maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence.
Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Site Manager within high-end residential or heritage refurbishment projects.
*
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
*
A solid understanding of construction methods, building regulations, and health & safety practices.
*
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
*
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications ().
*
Full UK driving licence.
