Joining them offers the chance to work on exciting projects within the Cambridge region.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational management of commercial fit-out projects, typically up to £10 million in value. Your expertise in managing projects from initial demolition and strip-out through to the final fit-out stages will be crucial to success.
You will be the central figure on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOversee and manage all phases of fit-out projects, from initial demolition and strip-out through to final completion.\n\nDevelop and manage the project programme, ensuring key milestones are met.\n\nSupervise and coordinate all subcontractors and direct labour on site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.\n\nEnsure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and company procedures, fostering a strong safety culture on site.\n\nMonitor and control the quality of workmanship across all trades.\n\nLiaise effectively with the Project Manager, client representatives, design teams, and other stakeholders.\n\nManage site logistics, including deliveries, material storage, and waste management.\n\nProactively identify and resolve any on-site issues, challenges, or potential delays.\n\nConduct regular site meetings and provide comprehensive progress reports.\n\nOversee the snagging process and ensure timely completion of all outstanding items for handover.\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\nProven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects.\n\nEssential experience in managing projects from demolition and strip-out phases through to final fit-out.\n\nDemonstrable experience on projects with values up to £10 million.\n\nStrong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and quality control.\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.\n\nHighly organised, detail-oriented, and proficient in problem-solving.\n\nThorough knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.\n\nAll standard construction site certificates are required:\n\nValid CSCS card (Manager/Professional level).\n\nValid SMSTS certificate.\n\nValid First Aid certificate.\n\nDesirable Certifications (Nice to have):\n\nFire Marshal certification.\n\nPASMA certification.\n\nMust be able to commute to projects within the Cambridge region.\n\nWhat's On Offer:\n\nA competitive salary/day rate, commensurate with your experience and project value expertise.
