Site Manager

Contract Scotland is working with a reputable civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Freelance Site Manager for a remote project involving the construction of a hardstanding and above-ground installation for a gas pipeline.



Location: Remote Site (Fly-in, Fly-out Rotation)

Start Date: Monday 18th August

Rotation: 11 days on / 3 days off (e.g., fly up Mon 18th, fly home Thurs 28th)

Duration: Ongoing until end of January



Key Requirements:



SMSTS



Temporary Works Coordinator certification



First Aid at Work



Full, clean UK driving licence



Proven experience managing groundworks and concrete packages



Confined Space Entry training ( but not essential)



Role Overview:

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with programme expectations. The role involves travelling to site on Monday 18th August and commencing work upon arrival. The project location and travel requirements mean the position is best suited to candidates currently based in Scotland.



This is a great opportunity for an experienced freelance professional to take on a key role in a technically interesting and logistically challenging project.
