Job Description

We're working with a well-established, regional main contractor with a strong reputation across Yorkshire for delivering new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects up to £5m in value.\n\nDue to continued growth, they're looking to appoint experienced Site Managers or Senior Site Managers to join their close-knit team. You'll be based from their office near Leeds and manage projects across a Yorkshire in various sectors.\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n\nOverseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish\n\nLeading site teams and subcontractors with clear direction and strong communication\n\nWorking closely with Contracts/Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget\n\nMaintaining high standards of quality, health & safety, and site presentation\n\nAttending and chairing progress and subcontractor meetings\n\nSupporting and mentoring junior staff on site where required\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n\nProven experience managing construction sites (ideally housing, commercial, or industrial)\n\nAbility to plan, programme and manage all aspects of the build process\n\nStrong leadership, communication, and people skills\n\nSMSTS, First Aid, and Black CSCS card (or working towards)\n\nScaffold inspection, asbestos awareness, and other H&S certs desirable\n\nFull UK driving licence required\n\nWhat's on offer:\n\nPermanent role with a long-standing, secure contractor\n\nCompetitive basic salary\n\nCompany car or cash allowance\n\nProfit-related bonus scheme\n\nPension & employee share scheme\n\nOngoing training & development\n\nVaried project portfolio with solid pipeline of work\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a Site Manager who values being part of a supportive, team-led environment and enjoys managing a range of interesting, regional projects without excessive travel.\n\nRG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
