About the Company\n\nOur client is a well-established and forward-thinking contractor with a strong track record in the social housing refurbishment and regeneration sector. Operating nationwide and with a growing presence across London and the Southeast, they deliver high-quality internal and external improvement works in partnership with local authorities and housing associations.\n\nAs the company expands its retrofit and regeneration offering across North London, they are seeking a Site Manager to lead projects on-site from inception to completion.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of refurbishment and retrofit projects across occupied housing stock in North London. You will ensure works are delivered safely on time, to specification, and with a strong focus on satisfaction.\n\nKey Duties & Responsibilities:\n\n * Manage the delivery of internal and external refurbishment works, including:\n\n * Kitchen and bathroom replacements\n\n * Windows and doors\n\n * General repairs and redecoration\n\n * External works (roofing, brickwork, render, etc.)\n\n * Oversee decarbonisation and retrofit schemes, including:\n\n * External wall insulation and cladding\n\n * Mechanical ventilation and air-tightness upgrades\n\n * Loft and cavity insulation\n\n * Renewable energy technology installations (e.g.
solar, heat pumps)\n\n * Liaise with client representatives, residents, subcontractors and internal teams\n\n * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance, and health & safety standards\n\n * Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery\n\n * Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and H&S documentation\n\n * Proactively manage liaison and ensure positive customer feedback\n\n * Ensure adherence to relevant building regs, PAS 2035 standards and project specifications\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience as a Site Manager on social housing refurbishment and/or retrofit projects\n\n * Strong knowledge of internal refurbishment trades and external works\n\n * Experience with decarbonisation or retrofit schemes (PAS 2035 knowledge desirable)\n\n * Excellent organisational and communication skills\n\n * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification (essential)\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence (essential)\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * £45,000 – £55,000 per annum, depending on experience\n\n * Car allowance or company vehicle\n\n * Pension, healthcare, and discretionary bonus scheme\n\n * Ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities\n\n * Supportive team environment with clear progression paths
