Site Manager - District Heating Networks\n\n Southern UK | Full-Time |\n\nWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of district heating projects across the southern UK. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in utilities, infrastructure, or construction, who thrives in a fast-paced, sustainability-focused environment.\n\n ️ Key Responsibilities\n\nSite Operations & Delivery\n\nManage day-to-day site activities across multiple district heating projects\nCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and safe delivery\nMonitor site progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications and industry standards\nEnsure all works are delivered in line with CDM regulations and company SHEQ policies\nSupport commissioning and handover processes, including O&M documentationHealth, Safety, Environment & Quality (SHEQ)\n\nAct as a visible leader in promoting a safety-first culture on site\nConduct regular site inspections and safety audits\nEnsure all incidents, near misses, and safety actions are reported and closed out\nMaintain compliance with all statutory and company H&S requirementsCommunication & Coordination\n\nLiaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and expectations\nAttend and lead site meetings, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation\nProvide regular updates to the Project Manager and senior leadership✅ What We're Looking For\n\nSkills & Experience\n\n5+ years' experience in site management within district heating, utilities, or construction\nStrong understanding of CDM regulations, H&S legislation, and quality standards\nProven ability to manage subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills\nCompetent in reading technical drawings and managing site documentationDesirable\n\nExperience with JCT/NEC contracts\nKnowledge of sustainable energy systems and low-carbon technologies\nSMSTS or equivalent site safety certificationPlease click to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
