Training may be off-site.\n\nRequirements\n\nEssential\n\nThe Site Maintenance Worker will be able to demonstrate the following skills:\n\nStrong experience in most or all required areas\nGood housekeeping skills\nExcellent communication skills\nAttention to detail\nHealth & Safety conscious at all times\nFull Driving Licence held\nCommon sense approach to problem solving\nProfessional and approachable personality\nFocused can-do attitude\nStrong work ethic\nProficient in Microsoft products and other aspects of IT usage\nThe Role\n\nAs the Site Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the whole site. The role is based at our Preston site to ensure the day-to-day maintenance of a busy manufacturing unit.\n\nReporting directly to the Technical Director, the key responsibilities associated with this role are:\n\nRepair work to brick walls around the factory, e.g.

pointing, brick replacement, re-bedding work, etc.\nDemolition of walls and structures\nBuilding of new walls and structures\nGroundworks around the factory\nRoofing & guttering repair work\nRepairs to and replacement of flooring, e.g. timber, asphalt, tarmac, concrete, etc.\nBuilding of internal structures, e.g. timber stud walls, etc.\nOther general building maintenance tasks, e.g.

rendering, painting, etc.\nProcuring materials as required to fulfil duties, as well as liaising with suppliers/local wholesalers\nLiaising with third-party contractors for work beyond our scope\nPlease note - feedback regarding unsuccessful applications will not be possible due to the large number of applications.\n\nWhat’s next?
