We are looking for brave, passionate, reliable people to join our company. As On-site Maintenance Technician you will maintain troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems as required during PMs or repair calls.
Role and Responsibilities: Successful candidates must be skilled in not only conveyor maintenance, but also in general facility maintenance
- Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and pipeline distribution systems (Shoe sorter, belted conveyor, MDR conveyor, Truck loader, NBC, belted curve and gravity)
- Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion.
- Fill out and provide accurate documentation for all service calls and PMs.
- Maintain and promote a safety-first culture, best practices and positive attitude.

Requirements:
- Mechanically able to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems as required during PMs or repair calls.
- Proficient at using hand tools and power tools
- Have a clean, valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to read and write in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Committed to working a flexible schedule and overtime
- Physical able to work long hours on your feet, bend/crouch, work in tight areas, lift min. 30lbs, and climb ladders
- Certifications in all lift equipment
- Certifications in OSHA and Safety knowledge
- Responsible and professional
- Knowledge in details of all types of conveyor systems and associated components
- Skill set and knowledge to perform PMs and mechanical repairs on all conveyor systems including sortation systems (Shoe Sorter)
- Knowledge and leadership skills to teach trainees of the department
- Communication skills to lead a team through p.ms and repairs
- Communication skills and knowledge to talk to customers on site about repairs or P.ms
- Maintain a dress code which requires all personnel servicing the equipment to wear appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE). At minimum, high-visibility vests, safety glasses and steel toe shoes must be worn. When working with electrical components all personnel will follow NFPA 70E guidelines for the selection of appropriate PPE and safe work practices for the required task.
