SITE INSPECTOR (Construction or Building Inspector – Senior)

We are hiring experienced Site Inspectors to perform field-based property inspections as part of FEMA’s Hermit's Peak/Calf Canyon claims process. Inspectors will be responsible for evaluating site damage, validating claims, and providing documentation to support technical review. Candidates should have construction, engineering, or building inspection experience in disaster or federal contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections to assess claimed damage

• Document existing conditions using FEMA-compliant forms and photo logs

• Coordinate with reviewers and technical teams to verify information

• Ensure inspections are performed thoroughly and in accordance with standards

• Submit clear, organized inspection reports with all required attachments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or similar field

• 5+ years of inspection, engineering, or construction QA experience

• Previous FEMA or post-disaster inspection experience strongly

• Strong knowledge of building systems, damage types, and repair scopes

• Ability to travel and perform work in the field when required

• Familiarity with mobile inspection tools and report formatting standards
