Site Electrical Engineer Location: Cheshire £50,000 - £70,000 DOE Permanent, Hybrid A leading organisation in the energy sector is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team at their Site in Cheshire, the UK's largest onshore natural gas storage asset. With expansion plans underway, this is a rare opportunity to contribute to their growth journey. As Site Electrical Engineer, you will ensure the integrity and efficiency of their electrical assets in a major accident hazard environment. Key Responsibilities: Site Electrical Engineer Manage electrical asset management, adhering to statutory and best practice guidelines. Supervise on-site electrical contractors, ensuring safety and project timelines. Provide operational support for electrical maintenance, resolving defects promptly. Develop preventive maintenance routines to maximize asset reliability. Oversee tender processes, contractor selection, and performance monitoring. Plan and coordinate electrical aspects of plant outages. Liaise with regulators and stakeholders to maintain compliance. Lead site modification initiatives related to electrical systems. Key Requirements: Site Electrical Engineer Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 5+ years' experience in oil and gas or process industries. High Voltage authorization and familiarity with COMAH, DSEAR, HV, and ATEX. Strong attention to detail and proactive mind-set. Proficiency in contract and project management. Knowledge of Hazardous Areas, HV & LV distribution, motors, VSDs, switchgear, and UPS systems. NEBOSH General Certificate (desirable).
