Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a

Staff Engineer

to join our Site/Civil Department in our

Raleigh or Charlotte, NC or Danville, VA

office. As part of our site/civil team, you will make an impact in the community by helping our clients solve their most challenging problems. Projects will include the design of diverse land development projects.

Responsibilities

Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.

Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.

Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.

May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.

Required Skills & Required Experience

B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.

2-4 years of experience.

EIT is strongly .

Strong technical capabilities in Civil 3D.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

State permitting experience, especially in NC, is .
