STV is currently seeking a
Site/Civil Engineering Design Specialist
for its Buildings group in
Owings Mills, MD , which is currently the civil engineer of record for such high-profile projects as Harbor Place and the Baltimore Peninsula in Baltimore, MD. The candidate will collaborate on a wide variety of projects including conceptual master plans, waterfront redevelopment, mixed-use, office buildings, industrial buildings, housing/apartment projects, commercial buildings, and civil/site structures. The position will allow the individual to collaborate with a civil design team processing documents associated with a wide variety of land development projects within the Baltimore Metropolitan area.
The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and be an Engineer In Training (EIT). Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD is strongly .
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Exposure to working within the State of Maryland preparing civil engineering documents associated with grading, erosion/sediment control, storm water management, roads, utilities, i.e. water, sewer, storm drain, and conduit for both public and private sector clients.
Experience working in Baltimore metropolitan jurisdictions (ideally with Baltimore City) and familiarity with their design review processes.
Knowdledge with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT) with the goal of obtaining a PE license within 3-5 years.
Familiarity working in Maryland (ideally with Baltimore City) and familiarity with their design review process is but not required.

$68,554.21 - $91,405.62
