Simulation Systems Engineer \nLocation: Stevenage – primarily on-site \n Salary: Up to £46,000 depending on experience\n\nJoin an expanding, highly specialised simulation team as a Simulation Systems Engineer to contribute to complex Hardware-in-the-Loop testing activities.\n \nYou will support the maintenance and optimisation of sophisticated simulation systems used to test and validate advanced defence technologies. This role offers excellent exposure to real-time simulation environments, hydraulic systems and multi-axis motion platforms.\n \nKey Responsibilities: \n\nMaintain and support Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation and control systems\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance on hydraulic motion simulators and associated equipment\nDiagnose faults and implement engineering solutions across mechanical, electrical and control systems\nSupport testing activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives \nRequirements: \n\nIdeally degree-educated in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics, Aeronautical Engineering or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience\nUnderstanding of hydraulic systems\nHands-on CAD experience, CREO desirable\nAbility to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings\nPractical workshop experience using hand-held and electrical tools\nUnderstanding of control systems theory \nBenefits:\nAnnual bonuses, paid overtime, pension contributions, up to 15 additional flexible leave, subsidised meals on-site, free parking, ongoing training and development, and so forth.\n \nDue to the nature of work at our client’s site, these vacancies are only open to British .\n \nElectus Recruitment Solutions provides specialist engineering and technical recruitment solutions to a number of high technology industries.
