Signalling Project Engineer\n\nUK-wide (site-based with some office work) Full-time | Permanent Competitive Salary + Benefits\n\nOur client is seeking a motivated Signalling Project Engineer to support engineering delivery on a variety of rail signalling projects. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role offers great exposure to both design and site activities, including opportunities to be involved trackside during commissioning.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupport the engineering lead and take ownership of smaller engineering work packages\n\nPrepare for and contribute to interdisciplinary design reviews\n\nDevelop Engineering Management Plans and contribute to risk assessments\n\nWrite technical reports and manage materials lists\n\nLiaise effectively with client engineers and resolve engineering issues on site and with design teams\n\nAssist in preparation of estimates and tender documents\n\nCreate and manage trackers and registers for engineering deliverables\n\nProduce and collate O&M manuals and Health & Safety files\n\nSupport design, testing, construction, and project management activities\n\nOpportunity to undertake Assistant Testing duties trackside during commissioning phases\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\n\nHNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent technical qualification (preferably electrical or electronic)\n\nHolds one or more IRSE Licence(s)\n\nPrevious site experience with knowledge of railway signalling, including level crossings\n\nCompleted a recognised railway signalling training scheme (e.g., apprenticeship or graduate programme)\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nSelf-motivated with a flexible, can-do attitude\n\nAble to work well within a team as well as independently\n\nFit and able to work trackside and hold valid PTS certification\n\nStrong time management and organisational skills\n\nWhy Join This Team?\n\nOur client offers a supportive and professional working environment where you will develop your skills and career in rail signalling engineering.
