Sign Installer/General Laborer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, reliable Sign Installer/General Construction worker to work with our growing company. In this position, you will support the construction manager with operations in worksites and manual labor tasks while handling power tools and equipment. To do well in this role you should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and be physically fit.

Sign Installer Duties and Responsibilities

• Install signs, hanging banners, complete site surveys
• Experience with bucket trucks, lifts, crane, heavy equipment recommended, but not required
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety regulations
• Knowledge of all tools and measurements

General Labor Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload tools, prepare site materials, stage building materials, and set up equipment
• Follow project instructions from construction manager
• Keep job site organized and clear of debris
• Consult with construction plans
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Follow all health and safety regulations when operating
• Ensure regulated and proper headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, clothing, and tie offs
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist in building assembled parts
• Safely operate a variety of tools including drills, saws, grinders, and blowtorches
• Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space
• Provide assistance to construction manager as needed
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

General Labor Requirements and Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent education experience; vocational school and trade apprenticeships a plus
• Must be 18 years of
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with team members
• Ability to work in all weather
• Must be punctual and reliable
