Position Type: Part-time 1099, approximately 10-12 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Short-Term Rental Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of our growing portfolio of short-term rental properties in Manhattan, KS. This role ensures smooth guest experiences, efficient turnovers, and effective coordination with cleaning and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple short-term rental units.
• Coordinate and manage housekeeping, maintenance, and vendor schedules.
• Ensure properties are guest-ready and meet brand standards.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and issues (via Airbnb, VRBO, and direct booking platforms).
• Track and order supplies, linens, and amenities as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain property quality.
• Implement and optimize operational processes for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality, property management, or operations.
• Familiarity with short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc.).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech proficiency with property management systems, scheduling tools, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends as needed.

Skills

• Background in hospitality management or real estate.
• Local knowledge of Manhattan, KS market and vendors.
