In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various types of piping systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Perform welding operations on various types of pipes using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior welders as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional welding certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as a pipe welder in a shop environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in welding.
