We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for managing daily shipping operations, coordinating truck check-in/check-out, verifying order accuracy, and maintaining communication between drivers, sales, and yard supervisors. The ideal candidate has prior experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation support and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and communication are key.
Responsibilities:

Check in and check out drivers, ensuring paperwork and loads are accurate.

Create, process, and maintain shipping documents including packing lists and delivery tickets.

Coordinate with freight carriers, hot shots, and sales teams regarding scheduling, order changes, and priorities.

Monitor and manage the truck check-in system, notifying supervisors of updates or special requests.

Ensure all outbound drivers complete proper sign-out procedures and documentation.

Communicate effectively with sales, operations, and yard supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.

Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities in the system.

Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to read and verify shipping paperwork with attention to detail.

Proficiency with computer systems and email communication.
