We have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual who would like to create their own legacy at an independent family distillery.
Main Responsibility
Lead, supervise and support the Distillery shift team members across Malt, Grain and Gin distilling operations, in order to effectively, safely and efficiently deliver the required production volumes at the right quality.
Use lean manufacturing principles to deliver stable, reliable operations via KPI recording and analysis supported by effective problem solving.
Drive customer service, quality and competitiveness.
Ensure Distillery operations are fully compliant with all of the regulations required by a top tier CoMAH site and IPPC license holder.
Our Ideal Candidate
Demonstrable technical competence in Brewing/Distilling/Pharma/Petrochem industries.
Experience in leading shifts or teams of colleagues.
Educated to degree level in Chemistry/Science/Mechanical Engineering – or experiential competence through significant experience in a similar role.
General Certificate in Distilling – Institute of Brewing & Distilling would be a nice to have.
