We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly respected company within the building services sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to secure ongoing work with excellent hourly rates and professional development opportunities.\n Key Responsibilities\nCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial site.\nResponding promptly to emergency call-outs and resolving faults efficiently.\nUndertaking a variety of mechanical and electrical duties, including:\n\nMinor installations and electrical fault-finding\nLamp and ballast replacements\nControl panel inspections and maintenance\nPower distribution checks\nEmergency lighting tests and repairs\nServicing air conditioning systems (AHUs and FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning.\nMonitoring and resetting chillers.\nPerforming routine water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and monitoring.\nMaintaining pumps and motors.\nTaking regular readings from Building Management Systems (BMS) and UPS systems.Candidate Requirements\nRecognised mechanical trade qualification (e.g.
