Shift Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Critical Commercial Building – St Paul's, London – Up to £58,000 + Package\n\n Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based within a brand-new, high-profile commercial building in St Paul's, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for both an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer and a Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer to work on a prestigious static site, carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services systems within a critical environment.\n\n The successful candidate will be either electrically or mechanically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance. Experience working within critical environments such as banking, blue-chip offices, data centres, or other mission-critical facilities would be highly advantageous.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected FM provider offering AP training, plenty of overtime, and excellent long-term career progression.\n\n In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £58,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.\n\n Hours of Work:\n\nContinental Days & Nights Shift Pattern\n07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00\n22 Shift Holidays Per Year\nPlenty of Overtime Available\nPositions Available:\n\nShift Electrical Maintenance Engineer\nShift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer\nKey Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building services systems.\nElectrical maintenance, including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamp changes, ballast replacements, control panels, and power distribution.\nEmergency lighting testing and maintenance.\nCarry out maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, HVAC plant, and associated mechanical systems.\nMonitor and respond to BMS alarms and building controls.\nCarry out water temperature monitoring and water treatment compliance checks.\nSupport the maintenance of critical plant including UPS systems, generators, power distribution equipment, and associated infrastructure.\nAssist with hydraulics and pneumatics maintenance where required.\nCarry out minor plumbing works and general building services maintenance.\nMaintain accurate site logbooks, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.\nEscort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site.\nRespond to plant failures and critical incidents in a timely and professional manner.\nEnsure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.\nMaintain a professional and client-facing approach at all times.\nPackage:\n\nSalary: Up to £58,000 per annum\nPlenty of Overtime Available\n22 Days Shift Holiday\nAP Training for the Right Candidates\nCompany Pension Scheme\nOngoing Training & Development\nExcellent Career Progression Opportunities\nRequirements:\n\nCity & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering\n17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Electrical Bias)\nProven track record in commercial building maintenance\nExperience working within critical environments is highly desirable\nGood understanding of UPS systems, generators, power distribution, chillers, HVAC plant, and control panels\nMulti-skilled approach to maintenance\nStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities\nExcellent communication and client-facing skills\nMust be able to provide copies of trade certificates\nPlease send your CV to Bailey White at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information and to avoid missing out on this opportunity
