A growing and well-invested manufacturing business based in Blackpool is looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled) to join its engineering team. Due to continued growth and ongoing investment across the site, this role offers a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking and secure organisation.



The business is committed to maintaining high engineering standards and is seeking a capable, hands-on engineer to support both reactive and preventative maintenance activities on a rotating days and nights shift pattern.



The Role:



As a Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled), you will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:



Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery

Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production and site equipment

Working with motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control panels

Responding to breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime

Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects

Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards

The Ideal Candidate:



You will be an experienced multi-skilled engineer with a background in manufacturing or industrial environments. Ideally, you will have:



Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

Relevant engineering qualifications (electrical, mechanical, or multi-skilled)

Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to work independently across both day and night shifts

A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
