Shift Laboratory Analyst/Technician (Chemical Plant)

Perform quality control analysis on materials at incoming, intermediate and final stages throughout manufacturing process.

Operate, maintain and troubleshoot lab facilities, monitoring & measuring devices

Schedule or perform preventive maintenance/servicing or calibration works.

Monitor and ensure outgoing product conformity status to meeting delivery schedule

Generate analysis reports and certificate of assurance for customers

Establish, review and maintain standard operating procedures and records for compliance to ISO standards.

Perform data analysis and initiate investigation when out of control/specification situations arise.

Implement continual improvement plans or projects for quality management system’s effectiveness

Implement and enforce good laboratory & safety practices

Plan reagent and lab consumables procurement for good inventory control

Purchase and maintain lab inventory.

Evaluate test samples for investigation and development works.

Knowledge of laboratory instruments such as Ion Chromatographs, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV-Spectrophotometer & Photometric-Titrator would be advantageous.
