Job Description

We're recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for a Shift Electrical Engineer.\n\nThis business invest time and money in their engineers to improve their skill sets, if this sounds like somewhere you'd like to be then get in contact today.\n\nThe Person:\n\n * Worked as a Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician / Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician.\n\n * HNC/HND - Desired\n\n * NVQ Level 3 Trained\n\n * 17th/18th Edition\n\n * Trustworthy, Motivated, Problem Solver\n\n * Experienced in a FMCG environment\n\n * Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills\n\n * Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office family of products\n\n * Experience of Maintenance Management Systems & software.\n\nThe Role:\n\n * Reactive maintenance - Reacting to breakdowns to ensure production is back running as quick and safely as possible.\n\n * Attend breakdowns promptly and make repairs to the best quality\n\n * Complete regular machine maintenance programmes to reduce packing downtime and complete relevant paperwork.\n\n * PLC fault finding would be an advantage but not essential\n\n * Project Work (CI / Installation / New Machinery commissioning.)\n\n * Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule.\n\n * Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.\n\n * Manage Health and Safety: Ensure all engineering work carried out in the value stream meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.\n\nContinental Shifts - 12 hour days & nights\n\nThe salary will be £51,000pa - £52,000pa\n\nFor more information contact\n\nLaura Riding\n\nQuestech Recruitment
