Sheet Metal Fabricator

A large and well established manufacturing company located in Colchester, Essex are currently recruiting Sheet Metal Workers on a temporary - permanent basis. These are to work on either a 6am to 2pm shift or 2pm to 10pm shift.



This role is paying between £14.27 - £15.19 per hour, depending on experience.



Working hours:

There are 2 shifts you could work on, as per below:-



6am to 2pm (£14.27ph)

2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday (£15.19ph)Duties in the role:



As a Sheet Metal worker, you will be using spinning machines

Reading from technical drawings where required

Measuring and cutting materials to size using hand & power tools

Operating of welding machines for joining sheet metal parts

Perform quality checks on the finished products to ensure they meet the required standards

Work closely with engineers and fabricators across the site

Operating Rollers in the fabrication department

Candidate requirements:



Diploma, apprenticeship or NVQ in engineering or similar

Must be able to read from technical drawings

Will have used fabrication equipment such as rollers press brakes and spinning machines

Background using various hand/power tools and fabrication machinery is needed
