Job Summary:
The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for sewing upholstery components according to specifications using industrial machines. This role ensures all products meet company quality standards while maintaining efficient production and a clean, organized workspace. Job Duties
- Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric, leather, or vinyl upholstery components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, patterns, and sewing instructions.
- Inspect materials before and after sewing to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform basic machine maintenance such as threading, needle changes, and tension adjustments.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily manufacturing goals.
Pay: 16.00/hourly Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Thursday 7:30-3:30 Friday 5:00am-1:30pm Experience or Skill Requirements
- Proven experience as a sewing machine operator, preferably in furniture or upholstery manufacturing.
- Familiarity with industrial sewing machines (double needle, walking foot, serger, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Bilingual
