Join us as an AIMS (Assest Information Management Services)Predictive Services Engineer in Derby.\n\nYour mission:\n\nAs an AIMS Predictive Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful delivery and integration of our remote-monitoring capability to various rail fleet projects. \n\nYour key responsibilities:\n\n• Develop automatic alerts for fault finding and prediction and CBM. (condidtion based maintenance)\n\n• Carry out peer reviews on alert documentation produced by local team, offshore team and Site Orbita Engineers, providing constructive feedback and expert advice; provide governance to ensure that quality standards are maintained.\n\n• Assist local depot / Engineering teams in the analysis, identification, automation and validation of remote data driven failure mode trend-to-failure identification and codification.\n\n• Assist in the continuous improvement and of PSE processes (process systems engineering)\n\n• Develop, validate and deliver tools and techniques to enhance the AIMS asset management computer system to meet business needs and generate value.\n\n• Provide help and advice relating to the AIMS function’s processes and working methods as part of a continuously improving quality process.\n\n• Carry out training of nominated personnel in the advanced software functions and processes required for the automation of alerts.\n\n• Assist in the creation of fleet monitoring strategies, working closely with the depots to ensure appropriate work packages are prioritised to deliver maximum reliability and availability.\n\n• Undertake depot site visits as and when required to discuss new alerts and carry out knowledge transfer.\n\nQualifications:\n\n• Engineering degree\n• Professional engineering experience, ideally in the Rail industry \n• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team when required. \n\n• Ability to communicate and generate rapport with a diverse array of people. \n\nDesirable:\n• Knowledge of data analysis, condition monitoring and CBM tools. \n\n• An Understanding of bespoke Alstom systems, MMS Systems(maintenance management systems) and site maintenance practices \n• Knowledge of Train Control & Monitoring Systems\n\nThings you’ll enjoy\n\nJoin us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career.
