Job Description
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve platform-related issues in a timely manner.
- Address recurring issues by working with development teams to determine root causes and implement long-term solutions.
- Monitor system performance
- Support change management and release practices within ServiceNow.
- Maintain foundational data and their sources
- Document standard operating procedures and provide knowledge articles
- Assist in system audits
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow technical experience
- Minimum of 7+ years of technology administration
- Ability to support operations of large ServiceNow implementation
- Cursory knowledge of multiple applications on the platform
- Ability to script
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and work with multiple development teams to provide a fix
- Ability to write knowledge articles and identify items that can be shifted to the Service Desk for support
- Ability to maintain foundational data sources (Users, CIs, Locations, etc.)
- Understanding and strong adherence to change and release policy and best practices
- Assist in designing governance and administration standards for many products teams
Experience Required:
- Experience in scripting
- Experience in configuration
- Experience with integrations
- Proficiency with the Application Development Lifecycle
- Excellent communications skills required
MUST HAVE:
- 7+ years of experience working in Cisco Wireless Controllers (5500s, 9800s) and Cisco Aironet 9100, 4800,3800,2800 Access Points.
- Strong understanding on Cisco ISE infrastructure and AAA.
- Implementing Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access), DNAC with Wireless Network Technologies and Meraki Solutions.
- Strong experience with Tools like Cisco DNAC, Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Data Dog Thousand Eyes.
- Strong understanding of WLAN technologies, network management, 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with analysis tools such as Ekahau, Wireshark, etc
- Deep understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) switching technologies including Cisco Wireless, SDA, DNAC, ISE, Virtual LAN (VLAN), STP, Trunking and Wireless concepts.
- Strong knowledge in Switching technologies - STP, Trunking, Ether channel, HSRP, VRRP, LACP, PaGP
- CCNA Wireless Certified.
- Experience in configuring Cisco Wireless LAN Light Weight Access Point Solutions.
- Strong work experience working in Cisco ISE models.
- Cisco ISE experience to understand how ISE works and integrates into wireless
- Flex Connect Experience on a large scale.
- Strong experience with both centralized and local Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
- Strong experience with Cisco Lightweight Access Points.
