Hanksters Motorsports is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team in Janesville, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of powersports vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. You will work closely with our service team to provide excellent customer service and maintain the high standards of our company.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on powersports vehicles including oil changes, brake checks, tire changes, fluid replacements, and filter changes
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding vehicle issues and repair status to ensure timely completion of service requests
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technical information and repair procedures including training and certification of courses to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in servicing powersports or recreational vehicles
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and read technical manuals such as multimeters and scanners
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license
