They are dedicated to ensuring smooth office operations by providing next-day delivery for contracted machines, office technology consulting, and efficient equipment maintenance and repairs. They're currently looking for a skilled Service Technician to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
The Field Service Technician – North Territory will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing office technology and imaging equipment such as copiers, printers, scanners, and multifunction devices. This field-based role covers the company’s north territory, providing on-site support for business clients and ensuring minimal equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls within the assigned territory, traveling to client sites to diagnose and repair copiers, printers, and multifunction systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Install and configure new office equipment, ensuring proper connectivity with customer networks and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including driver installations, error codes, and connectivity problems.
- Communicate with dispatch and service coordinators to update job status, schedule calls, and ensure timely customer support.
- Maintain accurate service records using the company’s service management system.
- Manage parts inventory and order replacement components as needed.
- Educate end users on basic operation, maintenance, and best practices to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to identify potential upgrades or service opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience servicing copiers, printers, and/or other office equipment.
- Familiarity with brands such as Sharp, Canon, Ricoh, and Kyocera.
