Job Description:
Experienced Service Technician to repair, service, maintain, and troubleshoot OEM stainless steel equipment for the food processing industry, while building and maintaining professional relationships with our customers that reflect our core values at Reyco Systems Inc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform service and maintenance and provide customer support to new and existing customer equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting to find root cause of customer issues with equipment.
- Supporting the customer with a solution for repair and maintenance.
- Filling out detailed reports for records and customers.
- Educating customers with use and maintenance of Reyco Equipment.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Meet Deadlines and adjust to changing circumstances in relation to deadlines.
- Work Flexible hours and around changing schedules.
- Coordinate work efforts with Reyco management and customers.
- Work Independently and lead 14-man crews.
- Maintain tools and equipment required for the job.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Leadership experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Disassemble, assemble and repair food processing equipment.
- Align pumps, motors, conveyors and equipment.
- Able to read blueprints, schematics and assembly drawings to help diagnose problems.
- Work with pumps, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, fans and motors.
- Use Industrial equipment (forklift, scissor lift, man lift, telehandler, spyder crane, carry deck).
- Experience with standard metal working equipment (Welding, Oxy-acetylene, plasma cutting, iron worker, drill press, press brake, shear, etc.).
- Use Hoisting and rigging equipment used to moved industrial machinery according to weight and size safely.
- Travel required.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record is required.
- Must be willing to work long hours and extended work weeks.
Note: This position involves operating company vehicles and/or equipment as an essential job function. A motor vehicle record (MVR) check will be conducted as part of the pre-employment process.
