Responsibilities

Diagnosing Vehicle Issues: Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues affecting vehicle performance and safety.

Performing Repairs: Execute repairs on various vehicle systems, including brakes, engines, and electrical systems, ensuring quality workmanship.

Maintaining Records: Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed, documenting work outcomes and parts used.

Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair needs and provide clear estimates on costs and timelines.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through training and workshops.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively with fellow technicians and service staff to ensure smooth operations within the service department.


Requirements

Experience: Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive service technology program is .Certifications: ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, and a solid understanding of automotive systems.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.Work Ethic: Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
