Job Description

We are currently looking for a Service Technician and MOT Tester for our main dealership client in Southampton.\n\nAs a Service Technician and MOT Tester, you will carry out a variety of workshop work in an efficient and safe manner. The aim is to meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.\n\nYour day will include:\n\n * Carrying out vehicle services and repairs in accordance with brand technical standards.\n\n * Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.\n\n * Liaising directly with customers where appropriate.\n\n * Providing support to less experienced colleagues.\n\n * Attending regular training to update technical skills.\n\n * Ensuring that the immediate working environment is kept clean and devoid of any working practice which may be hazardous to either themselves or others.\n\nHave you got what it takes?\n\n * Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation\n\n * Previous work experience in a franchise dealership\n\n * Highly skilled in fault diagnosis and hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification.\n\n * Ability to work as part of a team.\n\n * Commitment to delivering first class customer service.\n\n * Able to plan, organise self and meet agreed work deadlines.\n\nWhat is in it for you?\n\n * Highly competitive salary and bonus scheme.\n\n * Full training and support to help you immerse yourself in the role and the clients values.\n\n * 30 days holiday, inc.
