About the Role:
We’re expanding our Service and Support team in Duluth, GA, and looking for an Entry-Level Service Repair Technician to join our growing operation. In this role, you’ll perform in-house servicing, calibration, and repair of company products — including scales, balances, and other precision equipment — while supporting our customers and ensuring top-quality performance standards.

What You'll Do

• Inspect and repair scale and balance products
• Answer service-related calls on our technical support hotline
• Perform calibration testing and preventative maintenance
• Test returned equipment and determine credit disposition
• Identify and order spare parts needed for repair
• Accurately document repairs in the service database for tracking purposes
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures using established procedures
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to communicate recurring issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

What You'll Bring

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Metrology Degree
• 2+ years’ experience with electronic repair. Metrology experience a plus.
• Basic mechanical and/or electronic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical repair environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
