About the Role:
We’re expanding our Service and Support team in Duluth, GA, and looking for an Entry-Level Service Repair Technician to join our growing operation. In this role, you’ll perform in-house servicing, calibration, and repair of company products — including scales, balances, and other precision equipment — while supporting our customers and ensuring top-quality performance standards.
What You'll Do
- Inspect and repair scale and balance products
- Answer service-related calls on our technical support hotline
- Perform calibration testing and preventative maintenance
- Test returned equipment and determine credit disposition
- Identify and order spare parts needed for repair
- Accurately document repairs in the service database for tracking purposes
- Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures using established procedures
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to communicate recurring issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What You'll Bring
- Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Metrology Degree
- 2+ years’ experience with electronic repair. Metrology experience a plus.
- Basic mechanical and/or electronic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a technical repair environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
